1. Digital item orders

Brightskins sells digital in-game items delivered through Steam Trade Offers or related Steam functionality. Digital item orders are processed by HILLMARK CONSULTING LTD, Company number 16592223, registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom.

This policy operates alongside the Terms and Conditions, UK consumer law, and any mandatory rights that cannot be excluded.

2. When refunds may be available

  • Payment was captured but the order could not be accepted, fulfilled, or completed after reasonable investigation.
  • The selected item became unavailable before delivery or could not be sourced safely.
  • A duplicate payment, incorrect charge, clear pricing error, or confirmed technical error occurred.
  • A Trade Offer failed because of an error within Brightskins systems or supplier delivery systems before the item was accepted.
  • Support confirms cancellation before delivery has started or before the item has been made available to your nominated Steam account.

3. When refunds may be refused

  • The item has been accepted, delivered, transferred, consumed, resold, or otherwise made available through the nominated Steam account.
  • You provided an incorrect, inactive, restricted, or third-party Steam account or Trade Offer URL.
  • Steam restrictions, account bans, trade holds, regional limitations, or user-side security settings prevent delivery after order confirmation.
  • The order is blocked because of fraud checks, sanctions screening, stolen account signals, chargeback abuse, money-laundering concerns, or breach of our policies.
  • The refund request is based only on market price changes, buyer remorse, investment loss, or failure to make a profit.

4. Cancellation

You may request cancellation before delivery or fulfilment starts. Because CS2 skins are digital content and delivery can begin quickly, cancellation may no longer be possible once fulfilment, purchase, reservation, or Trade Offer creation has started.

We may cancel an order if fulfilment becomes unavailable, unlawful, unsafe, or commercially impracticable, or if required by our payment, fraud, AML, sanctions, or consumer-law controls.

5. Delivery errors

If you believe an item was not delivered correctly, contact support promptly with your order ID, Steam account, Trade Offer evidence, payment email, and a short description. We may request screenshots, Steam trade history, or other evidence.

If our investigation confirms an error, we may redeliver, replace the item, issue a partial refund, issue a full refund, or take another remedy required by law.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact support before starting a chargeback or payment dispute. Unresolved chargebacks may result in account review, suspension, delivery hold, evidence submission to the payment provider, and recovery of losses where lawful.

Fraudulent or abusive disputes may be reported to payment providers, fraud-prevention services, law enforcement, or other competent authorities.

7. Refund processing and contact

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on the payment provider, card network, bank, currency, and compliance checks.
